Mormon's greatest fallacy

Hi. I am quite new to this type of blog, I'm quite new to blog itself, to be honest. But anyway, it shouldn't influence my opinions, though.

I've seen some webpages about some beliefs of many churches out there, I will probably write about some other as well. Today I am going to write something, I've found out by watching great document called "Religulous". I don't know, if you are familiar with Mormonism, with what they believe, how did they come to this world(that's the greatest mystery even now) and what do they really want. Let's just run through it quickly for those of you, who aren't familiar with those (at least) interesting beings.

Firstly Mormonism is christian offshoot. They believe in the same God as catholics, lutherans or orthodox church. That's a big deal for them, because this is something like insurance. Since they admire this God, even if they're wrong, they'll be forgiven by him, because they've believed in him. Yeah, they might have been wrong, but God is allforgiving, right? (Maybe he could use some of his allforgiving power for atheists too). And honestly, they just MUST be wrong. They believe, that God actually wasn't born as God. He was firstly a man living on a different planet(sorry guys, 'forgot the name) and he lead polygamous life there. A normal guy. After he died, however, his soul evolved into God. Just like that.(Damn, i wish my soul would evolve like that, that would be something...But then again->i would really have to have something like a soul to begin with, wouldn't I?). Okey, but this is, where it begins.

Now we have God that we know from the Bible and yeah, from the New Testament as well. So it begins right where Bible begins. God creates world.. O-ou... Crash! Where did God live when he was man? Wasn't he supposed to be living at some random planet in space? But then again, when he creates world, that means, there couldn't be any before that. Still, he was able to live on an unexisting planet. I'd really like to meet some Mormon to ask him about this. Because it bothers me. How could they believe in such obvious fallacy and fairy tale. Really. When there is creating of the world in the Mormon story(which I believe is included in what Mormons do believe), it's rather a disappointing fact, there is such eye-tearing fallacy in the most basic doctrine of any religion.

It's really dumb and it's even arrogant in some way, because these Mormons want money from you, for which they provide their religion->trust me, not very reliable and worthy one. What you are literaly buying is complete worthless piece of shit. It's like if you were to buy a porn magazine and every naked girl would have man's genitals. Now, can you imagine that? Would you buy such magazine ever again? I hardly doubt it(but for those adventurous ones, i really hope you'll get cured soon-for the God's sake... no, that's not a good one. For the world's goodness's sake).

This is not the only interesting and completely insane and crazy stuff, Mormons believe. I just wanted to point out this one for the beginning. Next time i'll add some maybe even more crazy stuff, like baptizing dead people, lost jews theory etc. Hopefully I'd like to get some feedback, maybe from a Mormon alone, if i get lucky. Now, that would be just perfect, if there is a mormon reading this out there, please let me know, what is your view on this fallacy and how important do you find it to be. And of course you can let me know, that you are a Mormon, but since you'll defend them, it would be clear just by this act alone. Goodbye and hopefully we'll meet in some new entry about Mormons.

  1. The bible is time referenced to our world, so naturally when the bible states "In the Beginning" it means the start of our existence, or our world, not the beginning of God's existence. Christians also believe that God has no beginning or end, a belief that is shared by Mormons, obviously incomprehensible, therefore faith is involved.

  2. If God lived on another planet, he must have lived in our world. Also, Mormons believe God has its start. They believe, God wasn't God at the beginning. He was normal human. Only after his death, his soul evolved to God. This looks pretty much like beginning of God's existence. I can't call it another way. It's clearly beginning of God's existence. So they don't share Christian point of view on God's beginning. Don't forget, that Mormons believe, they're not wrong. If you would say, that God hasn't started to be God after his human body died, they would argue with you.
